Wearing history....

VINTAGE fashion has re-incarnated itself onto catwalks, high streets and our wardrobes era after era. It's clear that it will never die. Retro inspired pieces with a modern edge have been created by designers across the world to adapt to what we feel comfortable and confident in.

Dresses, skirts, trousers, shoes and coats which were once considered shabby, average and the norm for it's time are now one-off exclusive treasures sitting in second hand shops and unique retro boutiques. The quality about vintage clothing is it's...quality! Look how long they have lasted. Do you think Primark or Topshop clothes could last another 40 years and still look and feel as fabulous as they did when they first hit the shop floor?! Not to mention the curiosity and history aspect of never knowing...."Who wore this? Where did they live? Where did they travel?" It's pretty easy to give your vintage wardrobe a very glamourous past.

Major label's simply just appeal to the masses where it's difficult to express your own style. The beauty of this vintage look is that you will never walk past anyone else with the same piece you are wearing. An element of originality oozes from vintage.
